As we embark on a new year, many will take to social media to announce what they will be leaving behind in 2017, who they will be cutting off, what they will not tolerate, how much weight they will lose, blah, blah, blah. I mean come on, if you want to do something, just do it. You don’t need for a digit in the year to change for you to be a better person. Every day you wake up is an opportunity to do better. There have been many times when I have literally woke up and thought to myself, “I don’t like my weight, I have to do something about it,” or “I don’t like the energy this person brings, I must find a way to gracefully disconnect from him or her.” There is no need to make an announcement or wait for a new year to make moves, I just do it!
